My daughter is a year old and for the first 9 months of her life, I was really good about wiping her gums and teeth with a wet washcloth every day. However, since she still falls asleep every night drinking breast milk, we often don’t brush her teeth. We’ve tried in the mornings, but she is teething right now and is not a fan. We’ve tried letting her brush our teeth and making a game out of it but she still won’t let us.
Tonight, I decided it would be a good idea to try brushing her teeth while she was asleep. After all, I trim her fingernails while she is asleep. She protested a bit but let us (we don’t use toothpaste yet) and then fell back asleep. Success.
Brush your Teeth Rubber Ducky is one of the few rubber ducks that I have seen with teeth. She has a purple toothbrush and uses blue freshmint toothpaste. Her two front teeth are the only teeth showing and they resemble a beaver’s teeth. Her real name is "Pearly White Duck TM" as is printed on her bottom.
