When he was just a duckling, he built a red go cart with his dad that was number 36. This has always been his favourite number. It say “0 Speed 36” on his bum. He still sleeps in a red race car bed with a white stripe. However, his bed is made from the frame of a real race car.

Dottti Ducky has blue, purple, orange, red, yellow and green dots in three different sizes all over her body. She has a yellow square for her brand on her body.She can add just the right amount of colour to any room. I think rubber ducks are a great decorating tool, but our interior designer/stager for selling our house disagreed with me.

Dotti Ducky doesn’t have any brown or black dots on her body but she likes to splash in mud puddles to add these dots. In case you were curious, she has 70 dots total on her body.

She doesn’t drink while she is climbing but when she gets back down from a mountain, a glass of wine is a nice reward.

Arcade machines are awesome.

Pac-man eyes ducky is your typical looking yellow generic average rubber ducky with the exception that he has nice pac-man eyes. He has a chubby face and chubby little wings. Arcades have almost become completely outdated but he still loves hunting around to play arcade games. He even made his own arcade machine with pac-man and Simpson video games. He also loves watching World of War Craft video game tournaments.

Gray Ducky

Gray Ducky’s best friend is CowDuck even though CowDuck has always been jealous that Gray Ducky has his own song. Gray ducky was hatched on October 22 and has the letter “U” on his bum. I am not sure why. Perhaps, he likes horseshoes, is lucky. I am not sure. I might be missing something. What do you think it means? Gray ducky has blue eyes that are always half closed because he is quite sleepy. He often feels quite gray. In case you were wondering, yes, the beak ring hurt a lot.

Take a big whiff!

This is the only scented ducky that I own at the moment. Candee Ducky’s entire body smells like a minty candy cane. Her white sparkly pom pom styled hat smells the most minty. She has a red stocking on her bum and the year 2003. She was hatched on December 25th. I am impressed that she still smells, since I have had her for 10 years! She has beautiful emerald green eyes and a golden beak.

Cowduck was hatched on July 27 and has a lucky horseshoe on his bum. The odd thing about this ducky besides that he is half cow is that you can’t see his eyes is that his hat completely covers them. He also has a red bandana around his neck. The only thing he is missing are his boots and his gun.

Go to a Corn Maze.

A great family activity is to visit a Corn Maze. You usually figure out riddles at various stations and if you answer them correctly, you’ll make it out of the maze. Some mazes are even open at night for you to go through with a flashlight. Kernel Ducky was once part of a corn maze and he said it was pretty exciting.He has a big fluffy kernel of popcorn on his bum and was hatched on June 30. His husk makes a lovely jacket and the end of his cob on his head makes a great hat.

Now serving Ace Ducky was hatched on May 08 just in time for Tennis season. After a game, he loves drinking margaritas and eating key limes. He is so green that in low light he almost looks like he would glow in the dark, but he doesn’t.

The Cyclone waterslide is the best.

Tube Ducky and Orange Ducky love riding the waterslides at West Edmonton Mall. They highly recommend renting a Cabana for the day so you can store all your things, have your own table and chairs and your own bathroom too. It’s nice to get a cabana on the less busy side with the perfect view of the bungee jumpers and the 3 most extreme slides: the Screamer, the Cyclone and Nestle’s revenge. Their favourite slide was the Cyclone because it almost goes upside down in a loop. They also loved floating in the waves too.

Tube Ducky isn’t a perfect circle. She opens at the back so it’s easy to put her on a off your child. My daughter loves wearing tube ducky around the house.

Pink Tongue Ducky

She enjoys watching live plays all year round too (even at the Elementary School production level). She often has her tongue open and is a slobbery kisser, so look out. She has accidentally stuck her tongue onto poles in the past and needed salt to unstick it.

My head swivels.

While sitting in a cubicle for a number of years in an office, I only once saw one other cubicle with a rubber ducky in it (besides my own of course). A developer at my work had a white rubber ducky calendar. I of course had to find out where he bought it from and went and purchased my own in yellow.

Calendar Ducky is shown with the year showing a fish because this block only goes up to the year 2008. She looks remarkably like a B. Duck but the brand on her bottom says Luft. She has little bubbles in her eyes and her beak is cut and chubby on the side. She loves hearing all the office gossip.

Technically, this ducky is my daughter’s because it was a birthday gift. It’s interesting that you can buy rubber ducks from Old Navy. They seem to have seasonal ducks because I found Halloween and Christmas ducks at Old Navy before. My aunt found Mini Yellow and White Polka Dot Ducky at Old Navy.

Mini Yellow and White Polka Dot Ducky loves Teddy Grahams and is good friends with the pink Teddy Graham shown in the picture. She also loves taking photos with her Canon SLR camera. HDRs are her favourite because they really make the colours pop.

I found my Suzy Zoo sticker collection when I was going through my scrapbooking stuff. I also have a Suzy Zoo stamp kit that I would have featured in this picture but it is already packed away with my stamps. My daughter has a few Suzy Zoo books. Witzy is the yellow ducky.

The Hug-a-Bear Express in Edmonton City Centre mall sells many different Suzy Zoo cards. The big pad of paper in the far left of the photo shows a picture of a real duck and this ducky has its own series of cards too. I have quite a few of them as well.

Did you see the big dipper?

Blacky Ducky is an astronomer and he loves camping out under the stars in the summertime. He has white eyebrows and white pac man shaped eyes. He stores his toothbrush in the sink toothbrush holder and he loves his bath tub. He is good friends with the ducky on his sink and the ducky who is always in his bathtub. The tub soap holder is really cool and is one of my favourite soap holders. The water in the bathtub is really neat. It’s pouring out of the tap with little bubbles and has a slightly blue tinge to it. The taps are even labelled hot and cold. The ducky sitting in the tub looks a bit worried. Perhaps, he is afraid that the tub may overflow.

The 1920s duckies are dressed to the 9s for an evening of partying. The girl on the far left is wearing pearl earrings, her fur collared blazer and has a few curly tendrils peaking out of her fashionable hat. The gentleman next to her is dressed in a top hat, bow tie and has a mustache. His friend next to him is quite dashing in a grey suit. His date is a flapper girl with a big strand of white pearls around her neck. She also has a matching feather in her hair. She is my favourite out of the 4 ducks. Since she’s black and white, you can’t tell but her flapper girl dress is pale pink. I have a pale pink flapper girl dress too that I wore to a 1920s party they my friend had a few years ago.

Pump it up.

Lotion Pump Ducky looks grumpy and snobby when you look at her beak dead on, but from the side she looks happy. She can hold a lot of lotion but is a hard container to fill up and clean due to the shape of her. She has two little white dots on her beak that could be whiteheads, but I think they are nostrils. She is sitting on a little puddle of blue and blue is her favourite colour. She is an expert tennis player and loves flying and waddling through the spray parks in the summer.

Toe Separator Duckies have been exposed to many nasty pairs of feet. They have seen toes painted ungodly shades of red to pretty greens and blues and even black and boring barely there pink. They are often exposed to toe jam which gets stuck on them and they have smelled the foulest foot odours. They all have odd looks on their faces because they are trying to hold their breath.

Some days I feel a little flat.

My massage lady brought me this ducky back from her vacation to Houston. He is an American penny that was pressed in a penny press machine. I wonder if penny press machines are still available in Canada now that we’re not using pennies anymore. I remember as kids we’d put a penny on the railroad tracks and then the train would go by and press it for you.

Penny Ducky looks like Ernie’s rubber ducky. It would be really cool if there was a museum dedicated to rubber duckies or even a rubber ducky display in a children’s museum. I read online that a few children’s museums have rubber duckies floating in interactive water activities for kids.

Buccaneer Bill Ducky is really the name of who this ducky is dressed like. Bill was available at Home Outfitters many years ago. I wonder what happened to the Bill brand and if it’s still for sale somewhere. The following Bill outfits are available: Billionaire Bill (I have this outfit) Santa Bill, Sailor Bill and Baseball Bill.

This ducky came with a straw hat but I am not sure where it is at the moment. Therefore, this ducky got to wear this cool outfit instead. Buccaneer Bill has a heavy gold chain, a black eye patch and a red bandana. I realize that in the picture I have his bandana tied to look more like a lady in a kerchief instead of a bad ass pirate. Oops.

Billy Blanks Boot Camp is the Best.

Ducky Weigh Scales enjoy fish and chip just as much as the next ducky. However, you have to be careful because extra food and fast food can lead to weight gain. Ducky Weigh Scales enjoy weighing people who are dieting and like to see people feel good about themselves. However, they weigh you in kilograms, so you have to multiply the kg by 2.2 to see how many pounds you actually weigh. This can be a bit discouraging.
There are 22 tiny ducks on these scales and 1 large ducky for a total odd count of 23. The ducks are a large sticker on the scales and I’ve had to tape them back on a few times. Your bathroom is not complete without a Ducky Weigh Scale.

Washington D.C. Ducky

I am the biggest patriot ever!

During one of many work trips to Alexandria, VA, I found Washington D.C. Ducky. He is very patriotic and is dressed in an American flag T-shirt with a matching blue, red and white ball cap. I like that he has Washington, D.C., inscribed on his belly. 

I also loved eating at the Chart House in Alexandria. VA. I highly recommend the mango, avocado and crab stack for an appetizer. After biking around all the tourist sites in Washington all day, I also recommend the lava cake for dessert.

I love travelling and finding something that you collect. In 2008, I went on a lot of work trips to Washington, D.C. and after one of the trips, my husband met me and we took a bus to New York for the weekend. We were there for 2 days and one night which was not nearly enough time. However, we did get to see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building too. The Statue of Liberty looks much smaller in person than how you always see it portrayed in the movies, but it was still great to see it.

The Statue of Liberty Keychain Ducky is holding the torch and a book that says July 4th on it. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to go inside the statue of liberty but maybe next time we visit we’ll be able to. I think you need reservations in advance.

Jumbo Green Devil Ducky

The coolest of all the devil duckies.

Tiny and average sized rubber ducks are quite common and popular but there is just something really unique about really large rubber duckies. I own 4 large rubber duckies and 3 are yellow and one is green. They are rare to find but yet most collectors seem to manage to have one or two in their collections.

Jumbo Green Devil Ducky has been the centerpiece on our jacuzzi style tub for quite sometime. At one time he was even on my desk at my work. He had a lot of fans from the software company where I work. He looks like the average devil ducky but is about 5 times the size of the regular standard size devil ducky.

Jumbo Green Devil Ducky enjoys bathing with you and because he is a devil he even has the ability to make your tub water hotter so be careful!

Happy April fool’s Day!

Our daughter is 2 today! One of her favourite things to do is pour water in the tub, in swimming pools, and to water her plants. Therefore, this post is dedicated to her. I bought the first ducky watering can on the left when I was in the airport in Boston (on my way home from a business trip). This Watering Can Ducky is twins with the can in the middle except the can in the middle has bigger eyes and a red beak instead of orange. The middle can is from Dollarama. I have also seen these same watering cans in Ellerslie greenhouse in yellow and black. I am not sure where the ducky on the far left is from, but my daughter received it as a gift from her Grandpa. It has a hole in the handle for filling it up instead of its head like the other two watering cans. This one is my favourite and the easiest for my daughter to pour out of too.
