Suck Suck

Soother Ducky is 4 months old. She has long eyelashes and is wearing a white bonnet. Her purple beak and blue soother match her bib. She is a soother ducky and also likes to suck on the thumb of her wing. It would be even cuter if her webbed feet had little booties on them.

My son is two months old today. He doesn’t like soothers but he likes to suck his thumb.

Our house is for sale and since we had two showings today, I thought that Real Estate Ducky was an appropriate post. He has glasses, is wearing a white collared dress shirt and is holding a house model and a brief case. He first started out working on selling show homes and brand new houses but now he mostly sells established residential houses. I am hoping that he will help sell our house. I just started leaving him on our coffee table (this is usually where agents leave their cards after they have brought someone to view our house).

Myrtle Beach is my favourite.

The first and only time I have tried surfing was at Myrtle Beach in 2006. I was there for a work trip and had a day off. I should have got lessons because It was very challenging and I had a hard time standing on the board in the water. I also left my shoes and beach bag too close to the water and had to rescue my left shoe from way down the beach.

South Carolina Surfer Girl Ducky has been teaching surf lessons for 10 years and recently started competing, but hasn't won any competitions yet. She prefers longboard surfing and orange is her favourite colour. She also owns an orange longboard skateboard.

Soccer is dangerous. 

Concussion and Broken Arm Ducky received both of her injuries while playing soccer. Her and another player collided and it did not end well for her. She also had to have a shot of pain killer in her bum. The red X marks the spot. She thought that an afternoon out in the garden smelling the lilacs might help her feel better. It helped that there was also soccer game that she could see from the garden.

Technical Writer Ducky is giving a thumbs up because he just finished a Food and Drug Administration 510(k) submission for a new product that hasn’t been fielded yet. He has his glasses on his head and is wearing a blue collared dress shirt.

He loves to golf on the weekends to help him unwind. He has been on many exotic golfing vacations including to Hawaii.

Today was my last day at work before my maternity and parental leave so I thought this was an appropriate post to do.

Does anyone know what a Kris Krinale Ducky is? That is the name inscribed on the bottom of this ducky. I think it's a typo. I am calling him Kris Kringle Ducky instead because that name makes more sense to me. I have quite a few Santa duckies but this Santa ducky’s eyes say that he is up to no good. His eyes are the shape of lime wedges. He has his green sack slung over his right shoulder and he is wearing black boots. It’s pretty rare to see a rubber ducky wearing shoes. Candy canes are falling out of his sack and he has white bushy eyebrows.

We’re an odd couple.

These two ducks are the same brand and I think they are a wedding set but they both look very different. Opposites attract. They are an odd couple. It’s also odd that the man is dressed way fancier than his wife for their wedding. He is holding a cane and is wearing a top hat and a bowtie. The bride isn’t even wearing a wedding dress. She has a heart locket around her neck and a hippie flower headband. Her right eye is larger than her left. Odd.

Pucker up!

Carmindy from “What not to wear” is my idol. I would love her job and have always wanted to be a famous make-up artist. At the moment I do make-up for plays, but I want to do make-up for actors and actresses.

My tips are that mascara can be a real eye opener and foundation is a must when you are tired. My favourite colour of lipstick is positively pink (I am wearing it right now) and smoky eyes and mauve eye shadow are a must for this fall.

I have a green thumb!

I officially pulled the last few green onions from our garden today. We planted carrots, green beans, potatoes, lettuce and green onions and received quite a nice yield.

Water, prune, trim, repeat. Gardener Ducky is a horticulturist. He owns his own greenhouse and garden center and also teaches classes at the local university. When he retires, he plans on being a farmer. He loves growing tomatoes and red chili peppers.

Gardener Ducky is holding his favourite tools - an orange watering can in his right wing and a shovel and rake in his left. He is also wearing his gardening clothes - overalls because they have many pockets for all his tools. He has blue eyes, brown eyebrows and has a constipated smile spreading across his face.
