There are a lot of fancy USB keys in Japan. Think of them as jewelry for your computer because none of them hold any data. They just look pretty. In addition to rubber ducks, there were dogs and cats. The dogs were not in a flattering position and were doing something that wasn’t very nice to your computer. Of course, no one would do that to a friendly little innocent ducky.

USB Light up Ducky from Tokyo looks like he is the same brand as this ducky from Chicken Scratch. They are twins.

One of my greatest memories of being in Japan was going to a local restaurant for supper and pointing to everything that we wanted because no one spoke English and there was no menu. We spoke a little bit of Japanese and managed to get by.

Sword Pirate Ducky is yellow and chubby looking. He is wearing a green bandana and is holding a curved sword. His eyes are blue and black but look a little funny. He may be cross-eyed or he may just have starring issues.

Got sashimi?

During our 2009 around the world trip, we spent two weeks in Tokyo. We stayed near the University and there were a few neat stores in the area. One of the stores was a comic book type store and sold figurines. I always think that these types of stores will sell rubber ducks and I am almost always disappointed. However, this time I wasn’t. The banner on the outside of the store had a rubber ducky on it.

Sombrero Ducky is quite the odd find for Tokyo. I was hoping to find a sushi ducky. I have never seen one but that would be a cool design. Instead, I found a Mexican ducky. Sombrero Ducky is wearing a red sombrero with blue trim and yellow stripes. Other than that he is a basic looking mini rubber ducky.
