Lead Singer and Painter Duckies are good friends with Artist Ducky and 80s Singer Ducky. They are both devoted Christian’s and go to church every Sunday. Lead Singer Ducky has been singing since choir in grade 4. He can also play the clarinet and trumpet. Painter Ducky wants to be the next Picasso.

Second Act Carnival Duckies and Traffic Cop Ducky

We are the Broil Kings trio.

The Second Act Carnival Duckies are part of the Carnival Duckies and are part of the travelling circus. However, they became separated during a tornado and have not reunited with the test of the circus yet, so they have had their own show going on the side. The two headed duckies walk on tight ropes and eat fire sticks. Lucky Ducky has an amazing arm and can throw a baseball huge distances. His act involves throwing balls to break bottles from a thousands of feet away.

During their travels they met Traffic Cop Ducky and had him over for supper to their tent one night. They had a few steaks, lobsters and beers and realized their love for barbecuing and that they all have Broil King barbecues.

Mad Scientist Duckies from Ducky University

The Student Scientist Ducky on the left is a mad scientist in training. He is learning from his colleagues and sometimes has to keep them in line and bring them back to reality. He is a good listener and takes extensive notes. His curly brown hair and black sexy glasses are very popular with the ladies. 

The middle ducky is the oldest scientist ducky and is the craziest of the three, but he has discovered many findings for duckind. He is holding a vial of a very important antidote. The ducky on the far right is holding a red flask of an antidote that they are still experimenting with. His eyes are always bloodshot because he doesn’t sleep and works too many hours.

Vaccination and Hoody Ducky

Vaccination Ducky works at a health clinic and spend most of her day vaccinating ducklings. She is impressed when she gets the odd duckling who doesn’t cry. Most babies and children up to age 3 still cry when they receive vaccinations. She recommends that children should always be up to date on their shots especially before they go to daycare or school.

Remember Kill Kenny from South Park who always died in every episode. Hoody Ducky is the ducky version of Kill Kenny. He enjoys skateboarding and is accident prone, but thankfully has never died. During skateboarding and on three separate occasions, he has broken his wrist, ankle and arm.

70s Duckies

Lookin’ cool in our shades.

The 70s duckies are quite the party animals. They love going to the rollerskating disco on Friday nights. It’s only $2.00 for admission between 8-10:00 PM. They are both into the big hair and sunglasses. They each own about 20 pairs of sunglasses in varying shades and styles. The male 70s ducky has an afro and is wearing a gold star necklace. He is the first rubber ducky that I’ve seen with a mustache. The females 70s ducky is wearing big green diamond earring and white sunglasses. Her favourite colour is red.

The travelling carnival.

The Carnival Duckies enjoy the life of performing and travelling. The Clown Ducky on the far left has a red squeaky nose and orange tufts of hair. He performs during the day and gets the evenings off. The ducky next to him is Mallard Ducky. Even though he is a rubber ducky he is often mistaken for a real ducky. He is a tight rope walker. The Stilt Walker ducky can only see out one eye with his long bangs but he walks on stilts during the afternoon and evening carnival shows. The PopCorn Ducky sells popcorn during the evening performances. He loves kettle corn. The Carnival Duckies are hoping to perform in the big time circus one day. Their pet cat Misty also travels with them.

Skateboarding Duckies from the Bath Goddess

The boy skateboarder ducky at the top of this picture is really into skulls. He has a skull on his helmet, his T-shirt and a skull tattoo on his tail. He is also wearing navy wing guards. He loves to race on hills and teaches other ducks how to ride the rails. He started a skateboard club at his school.

The girl skateboarder ducky loves riding down hills. She has flowers on her helmet and T-shirt and pink wing guards. She is riding her orange skateboard in the picture but she also has a huge skateboard collection. She owns skateboards in the following colours: pink, green, ducky print, floral print and a blue leopard print.

Superhero-Bowler Ducky

Bowler by day, superhero by night.

Superhero-Bowler Ducky is a blond superhero ducky by night but a natural brunette bowler by day. She bowls 5-pin and is the best player on her team. She is not a fan of 10-pin bowling because she finds the larger balls too awkward to handle.

As far as I know, she is not a replica of a particular superhero. If I had found her in time in my bins of duckies, I would have included her in the Superhero Duckies post. I might have more superhero duckies or I might not have the rest of the set if there are more available. I still have 4 bins of duckies to blog about. When I was in Junior High, my brother and I bowled on a 5-pin bowling team on Saturdays.

S’mores and grilled fish over the campfire.

Since it’s the first day of the month that brings longer hours of daylight and Spring, I decided it would be nice to celebrate by showcasing the Camping Duckies. The ducky on the left is Hiker ducky. He is wearing UV clothing, a hat that covers his ears and his day pack. He is also drenched in Deet mosquito repellent.

The ducky next to him roasting two marshmallow for s’mores is his son. He is in Cubs and has earned his camping badge. He is hoping the ducky on the right will teach him how to start a fire so he can earn his fire starter badge.

The next ducky is the fisher woman ducky. She caught two fish today and is going to grill them for supper.The last ducky on the right is Pyro ducky. He loves starting fires and often uses a canister of gasoline to create really large campfires. He likes burning palettes and has gotten in trouble from park rangers on more than one occasion. He is in Scouts.

It’s a dummy!

Don’t panic. The baby in this picture is just a dummy. I would never run over a human. I test cars for the car company Serena, so we have all sizes of dummies that are placed in the cars. I also work part-time as a stunt ducky. In Dangerous Rubber, I was stunt driver for Ducky Andretti I am an adrenaline junky and being a stunt ducky is the the best way to satisfy my rush. When I race my car, I am lucky number 8.

Oh to be 25 again. Sigh...

Twenty-five was a magical age. I was finished college. I was working full-time as a secretary. I had many boyfriends and lots of jewelry and pretty dresses. The highlight of my week was drinking with my girlfriends and getting our hair and nails done. Those were the good old days.

You must enjoy being young while you can because now I am 75. I have 4 great grandchildren and I pass the time by knitting them all slippers and mittens (when my arthritis isn’t acting up). I still have fun with my girlfriends and I am still the best looking ducky in my nursing home. The boys still like me. However, I can no longer wear plunging necklines and a push up bra can’t push me up like it used to.

We are accident prone.

I know I paid way too much money for these overpriced Oriental Trading Company duckies, but at the time I hadn’t seen these duckies before and I had a gift card for the store too (at least that is how I like to justify it). These duckies are quite the accident prone set. I will explain from left to right how each of the duckies became injured.

The first ducky Bandage ducky rammed his belly into the handles of his snowmobile while going over a jump. The second ducky Broken arm ducky broke his arm snowboarding. He fell on it after doing a jump. The third ducky broke her legs and hit her head in a car racing crash. Her nickname is crash. The fourth ducky Full Body Cast ducky fell off a mountain and is very lucky to still be alive.

Rice Paddies rock.

I have alway wanted to go and see rice paddy fields up on a mountain. I think it’s so amazing how the terraces are carved around the mountain in a beautiful work of art. I think on our next round the world trip in 2019 we will make it a priority to see rice terraces.

This set of Asian Duckies consists of a ducky wearing a rice paddy style of hat and he has a large possibly Chinese symbol on his belly. His friend looks like an emperor from China or Hong Kong. He is wearing a red and black hat and has a large red circular symbol on his belly.

No more monkeys jumping on the bed.

Small towns can often be a haven for finding rubber ducks. Lloydminster is no exception. The Bath Goddess in a little tiny strip mall has tons of rubber duckies. I will warn you that they are a bit pricey considering that most of these rubber ducks are also available from Zydeco gifts, vending machines, Amazon, ebay and directly from the manufacturer for much cheaper. However, if you’re visiting or if you live there, it is nice to pick up new rubber ducks without having to pay for shipping.

The first Zookeeper ducky is wearing a green uniform and has a super happy monkey hanging off his shoulder. The second Zookeeper ducky is dressed a bit more safari like with his safari style hat and he has burgundy trim on his uniform. He prefers to work with the giraffes and elephants and isn’t really a fan of monkeys.
