Pink Easter ears are the best

Pastel Duckies love Easter. Every year, instead of dying eggs, they dye their beaks. Yellow ducky dyes her beak bright pink and blue ducky dyes her beak light pink.They also grab a loofah and polish and exfoliate their bodies to a beautiful shimmery glow. The yellow ducky quacks and lights up. She has a flower shaped cut out on her tail for the sound to come through. She also has a trapdoor under her so her batteries can be replaced.The blue ducky lights up but once he runs out of juice there is no way to replace his batteries.

Red Wine Ducky loves Dove 72% dark chocolate bars. She thinks they taste great with Merlot, but she doesn’t mind a good Shiraz or Malbec either. She has toured wineries all over California and British Columbia. She has also climbed mountains all over these areas too. She doesn’t drink while she is climbing but when she gets back down from a mountain, a glass of wine is a nice reward.

I love decorating Easter eggs to match me.

Pink and Orange speckled ducky is currently dating Blue and Green Speckled Ducky. People often say that you look like your spouse after a while. This is definitely true for these duckies. They have been mistaken as twins before too. They look great in Easter baskets or as part of your Easter centerpiece with lilies, chocolate and decorated hard-boiled eggs. Despite being pink, her favourite colour is mauve and her favourite chocolate bunny is white chocolate.

“I’ll brighten up your bathtime.”

In January this year, I bought these two light up duckies from Bath and Body Works. They are a bit pricey in my opinion since they are smaller than the standard size Bath and Body Works ducks. However, they are such bright shiny spring colours that I just had to have them for my collection. The lime green is one of my favourite shades of green. The turquoise ducky reminds me of the Aegan sea in Greece. I want to retire to Greece one day.

These duckies are sealed well at the bottom so they can go in the bathtub with you. However, once the lights or batteries burn out, you can’t open the bottom of the duck to replace them.

Red Car Ducky

Vipers are the best.

Red Car Ducky loves his Viper collection. He has a pair of Prada sunglasses to match each of his Vipers. He is wearing his red raybans in his red bumper car but his blue viper is visible too. He also enjoys watching the Dakar and he wears Drakkar Noir cologne as well. He is one cool ducky.

The Pretty Party Place also had ducks in boats and airplanes too, but they didn’t have any individual duckies available. I would have had to buy a pack of 12. In 2007, in Vegas, I rented a Viper for my husband for his birthday. It was fun to drive a 5-speed but first gear was totally worn out.

Great View.

I have sat on top of the Beck’s real Christmas tree for the past two years and this will be my third year. I have seen a lot and heard a lot. I really wish they would turn me around to face the window instead of the living room. I would be able to see a lot more if I was looking out the window. Don’t tell them, but sometimes when they aren’t home, I will turn around and stare out the window.

It’s a bit prickly sitting on top of a real tree but I enjoy my three weeks of freedom because for the rest of the year I am crammed in a box in the cold dark basement with all the other rubber ducky Christmas tree decorations. We get lonely and bored. At least I have a scarf to keep me warm. I look forward to Christmas morning and watching everyone open their gifts. I get to see Santa on Christmas Eve too.

This rubber ducky is similar to the 1st Rubber Ducky that I bought at the Body Shop except that he is male. He doesn’t have any eyelashes like his girlfriend does. My husband and daughter bought this ducky for me while they were shopping at Southgate mall. He makes breakfast for his girlfriend everyday.

I went to the playground with my husband and daughter tonight and then I went for a run on my own. When I returned, it was dark outside and there was a crispness in the air. It feels as though summer is slipping away too early. I hope we have a few more +30 days in us.

This is my last Bath and Body Works ducky, so now my full collection has been blogged about (until I buy more). Mini Magenta Ducky does not have eyelashes (as the other Bath and Body Works ducks do). I know she is not that mini either, but she is compared to the other Bath and Body Works ducks. She has two white dots on the black part of her eyes and she looks as though she could cry at any second. The look in her eyes is a cross between Puss and Boots giving the pity look and a dog begging to be petted.

Shiny flower power.

Burgundy Flower Rubber Ducky is similar to Flirty Flower Rubber Ducky. They are twins. Burgundy Flower Rubber Ducky is the more fun and colourful ducky. Her orange beak is a citrus splash against her shiny plum waxed body. She waxes everyday to keep up her shiny gleam. She rarely goes outside because when the sun reflects off her she blinds people.

Burgundy Flower Rubber Ducky is perched on top of a matching burgundy wine bottle. There are quite a few different coloured cat wine bottles. I have white, black, burgundy and green. There is also pink, orange, blue and red. They make great vases.

This was one of the first Bath and Body Works rubber duckies that I received. My brother bought in for me way back in 2002 or 2003. He also got me the tub shown in the picture in this post too. Sky Blue Ducky is a great colour and is the typical Bath and Body Works style of rubber ducky. He has an orange beak and the standard 5 eyelashes on each dreamy eye. It would be great if there was a list of all the Bath and Body Works ducks that are available or have been available. This was the closest list that I could find.  Please let me know if you have seen a complete list.

Pride and Prejudice is my favourite book

Baby Blue Ducky is one of the first rubber ducks that I purchased from Bath and Body Works (before we had the store in Canada). They should really put dates on the bottom of these ducks so that I can remember what year I purchased some of them.

She is baby blue all over and is matte. Most of the Bath and Body Works rubber ducks have a sheen to them now. She has black and white eyes that look like stickers (complete with eyelashes) and an orange beak. She also has a pale pink twin sister, but I don’t have her.  In case you are curious, the ducky wall decals in the background are from Etsy.

I bought this rubber duck at Bath and Body Works a week ago. They have quite a few of these rubber ducks, so this ducky is probably still available.

Drunk Lipstick Kisses Ducky is all white except for her fuschia, red, pasty pink and peach lipstick marks all over her. Her beak is bright red. She could also pass as a badly decorated leopard print ducky.

 It’s raining hearts.

I was at Southgate mall on Monday night helping my husband shop for jeans. We had a hard time finding denim jeans because 80s coloured jeans are back in style and the yellow, red and green jeans were monopolizing the shelf space.

I’ve been trying to find time to pop into Bath and Body Works to see if they have new ducks. So I stopped in and brought my collection number from 602 to 604. By the way, June is the semi-annual sale, so I am going to check in then to try to get a reusable ducky shopping bag.

Raining Hearts Ducky is all white but has pink, mauve and aqua hearts spotted all over her body. The brightest heart matches her bill.

Speckled like an Easter Egg

This ducky is a bit different from the other Bath and Body Works ducks because he only has 2 eyelashes on each eye instead of the standard 5. His wings and beak are shiny green. He has also a nice buffed sheen to him. I purchased him before the prices went up to $5.00 a duck. These ducks are still $0.50 cents cheaper to buy in the US instead of Canada (even though our dollar with the US has been on par for a long time). I used to buy these ducks when I was on business trips in the U.S.

I often pop into the Bath and Body Works or other soap stores to hunt for rubber ducks. A few times a year, the Bath and Body works has various rubber ducks in stock. I have also seen people with reusable rubber ducky shopping bags from Bath and Body Works. They are available during sales, but I never manage to catch the sale. Please let me know if you hear about their next sale. I really want to get a reusable ducky shopping bag.

Flirty Flower Rubber Ducky has mascared eye lashes that are thick and flirty. Upon making eye contact with her, you expect her to blink or daintily bat her eyelashes at you. Her body is a shiny pearlescense and she has pink, orange and green flowers all over her body. Her beak is a bright neon orange and is one of the brightest rubber ducky beaks I have seen.
